Animal Health GMP-Producer and supplier of veterinary products, supplies, pharmaceuticals, drugs and medicines in the Netherlands (Holland, Europe)
On January 19th 1979 the company Interchemie werken "De Adelaar" B.V. was
founded in Castenray, the Netherlands.
Initially, Interchemie traded in veterinary medicines in the Netherlands, Belgium
and Germany. Due to rapidly increasing sales volumes and our customers' requirements
to provide a complete range of veterinary products, it became necessary to establish
a production facility.
Production facility
In 1983, to meet the increasing demand, the Interchemie production facility
was established. The plant is divided into three production areas. Injectables,
oral liquids and water-soluble powders are produced according to the G.M.P.
regulations. The company is equipped with a professional laboratory, staffed
by highly qualified personnel to ensure quality control from incoming goods
through to finished products.
Research and development
Research and development form an essential role in the company's strategic
growth. Its scientific staff has developed a complete range of veterinary
products. These include high quality injectable preparations, water-soluble
powders and an extensive range of oral liquids.
Serving customers worldwide
From its well established domestic sales base, Interchemie started an export
drive in 1988, which has resulted in extensive global commercialisation of the
veterinary range of products. The existing customer base extends throughout
Europe, Latin America, the Far East, the Middle East and Africa.
Registration laboratory
Due to the registration regulations in the Netherlands, all products have to
be registered with the Ministry of Agriculture. In recognition of the increasing
regulatory requirements, Interchemie established its own registration laboratory
in 1991 to conduct in house research on residues, withdrawal times, bloodlevels
and product stability. This resulted in many registrations in the Netherlands.
Strategy
The resultant registration dossiers have complemented the export drive and facilitated
the registration of Interchemie products worldwide. During the development and
growth of the company the strategy remains the same. To develop, produce, register
and market the high quality range of products on a worldwide basis.
