| | | | Beschreibung: | | Amoxycillin is a semisynthetic broad-spectrum penicillin with a bactericidal action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The range of effect includes Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, penicillinase negative Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. The bactericidal action is due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Amoxycillin is mainly excreted in urine. Administration to animals with a serious impaired renal function.
Concurrent administration with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
| | | | Nebenwirkungen: | | Hypersensitivity reactions. | | | | Dosierung: | For intramuscular or subcutaneous administration:
General: 1 ml. per 10 kg. body weight, repeatable if necessary after 48 hours.
Shake well before use and do not administer more than 20 ml. in cattle, more than 10 ml. in swine and more than 5 ml. in calves, sheep and goats per injection site.
